Aberdeen Businesswomen's Network (abn) is a self-funded organisation promoting networking among businesswomen in the Grampian area. It was founded in 1985 and was the first established network of its kind in Scotland.
The abn committee's focus is to ensure the network continues to be an important forum for local business women to challenge, influence, learn and support each other.

We want to encourage more local business women to join the network, to benefit from the chance to network with other influential women and explore the social and business opportunities this may provide.

The network delivers a number of networking dinners and lunches on varied topics throughout the year with informative speakers to inspire and challenge your thinking.

If you are interested in finding out more about the abn network or would like details of how to join please contact:

abn's vision
  • Grow the membership
  • Organise events businesswomen want and can gain benefit from
  • Give members the opportunity to learn more about each other on a business and social level
abn was established with the objective of assisting businesswomen to gain and share information in a collaborative way, and to stimulate and sustain business development; this objective is still very much at the heart of abn. We hope to give members the opportunity to explore the potential of doing more business together by providing a forum for effective networking. ABN - Assisting Business Networking abn is an associate member of ASB (Association of Scottish Businesswomen). ASB was founded in 1995 as the umbrella organisation for the businesswomen's club that have established themselves throughout Scotland.

Business and professional women have issues and concerns that may not always be addressed by traditional business or women's groups. ASB is in a unique position to advise how to create an effective environment in which women can develop their business and careers. abn members will be able to benefit from the influence and activities ASB engage in.
